Sports Training Equipment & Surfaces

Outfit your sports club, athletic training centre or venue with equipment, flooring and turf designed around how athletes train, practise and compete.

Your Athletic Training Specialists

MAGMA brings commercial fitness experience to the strength and conditioning areas within your sports facility. Our work with equipment and training surfaces helps us understand spaces where athletes move between lifting, footwork, coached drills and conditioning.

A fixed strength station and a moving drill need different things from the surrounding floor. We understand those distinctions and bring that knowledge to dedicated training areas, shared athletic spaces and facility upgrades, keeping the activities each area supports at the centre of the project.

Why Choose MAGMA for Your Athletic Facility Project?

Athletic Facility Projects

“What stood out was how MAGMA talked about the way we actually coach. They asked about athletes moving between stations, the drills we run and how the equipment would be used. Those were useful conversations.”

Plan Around the Training and Playing Areas

Leave Room for Stations and Drills

Include equipment use, movement and storage in the layout.

A rack needs a fixed position; sleds and agility drills also need room to move. Include loading, partner work and routes between stations when deciding how much equipment the area can accommodate.

For shared facilities, consider what each group uses together and where portable equipment returns between sessions.

Choose Turf for Its Role

Playing, practice and conditioning areas can need different turf.

Identify the sport, footwear, equipment contact and level of play for each area. Include any required surface standard when asking about a playing or practice surface.

Share the existing base and dimensions so turf formats, optional foam or rubber layers, and joining materials can be considered together.

Questions About Your Sports Facility Project

Practical details for equipment, surfaces and delivery.

Can you help with one training area rather than the whole venue?

Yes. Your enquiry can cover replacement equipment, one training area or a wider facility purchase. Tell us what you already have and which activities or areas you want to add.

Can one turf format cover every sports area?

A playing field, practice bay and conditioning lane can need different turf formats. Include the sport, footwear, equipment and any required surface standard so we can discuss the relevant options.

Should I choose rubber flooring, turf or both?

Rubber flooring can serve weight and equipment areas, while turf provides surfaces for selected sports, practice and conditioning activities. Optional foam underpad or a rubber base can also be considered beneath turf around the intended use and existing base.
